Amram Capital Fund (‘Amram Capital’ or ‘the Company’) High Yield Fixed Income Fund Launched
Press release
Amram Capital, the independent wealth management and investment advisory firm, is pleased to announce the re-launch of our high yield fixed income fund, the Princes Park Capital Fund (‘Princes Park’ or the ‘Fund’).
The fund has a global mandate with the objective of generating high single digit absolute returns per annum while minimising volatility. It will focus on capital preservation through an unconstrained, high conviction strategy that is geographically agnostic.
Princes Park will look at the full range of credit opportunities, with a long bias across the capital structure. By exploiting market inefficiencies through in depth credit research it will utilise various investment strategies, which aim to amplify gains in rising markets, and protect capital during times of market stress,
The Fund will be managed by Chief Investment Officer (‘CIO’), Georges Gedeon, who has spent over 28 years in the financial industry and has a proven hedge fund track record of more than 16 years of positive returns. He started his career in investment banking in 1989 at Merrill Lynch in New York. After amassing twelve years’ experience, mostly at Goldman Sachs, he then moved into asset management in 2002, first as portfolio manager at GLG Partners, to then launch his own run funds, namely Mereor Investment Mgmt & Advisory. Georges later joined Millenium Capital from 2011 to 2016 as managing director and portfolio manager and is currently the CIO for Antler Capital Partners, a global high yield and special situations specialist asset management firm.
Anthony Bodenstein, CEO of Amram Capital, said, “I’m delighted to launch this new high yield fixed income fund that will further expand our offering to our wealth management clients and complement our existing property-backed bridge lending sub fund Whitehall Capital, that has achieved double digit annual returns since its inception. I’m extremely pleased to have someone of Georges’ calibre at the helm and I am confident that the Fund will perform excellently under his stewardship.”
Georges Gedeon, Chief Investment Officer of Princes Park Capital Fund, said, “I’m thrilled to be part of the newly launched fixed income Princes Park Capital Fund at these exciting times. Asset markets now reflect a global economy where successive periods of credit creation have led to an environment where private debt now stands at many multiples of GDP. Low nominal interest rates and quantitative easing are needed to make this debt load sustainable. In this environment fixed income markets can create superior risk adjusted returns from an unconstrained credit strategy that combines top down and bottom up analysis with extensive market trading experience.”
